LumiKitchen

Professional-grade under-cabinet lighting built for the most demanding room in your home. CRI95 tunable white light that shows food in its true colours while you cook, then shifts to a warm ambient glow for the evening.

Why CRI95 Matters in a Kitchen

CRI (Colour Rendering Index) measures how accurately a light source reveals the true colours of objects. Most cheap LED strips are CRI70–80 β€” meaning reds look dull, greens look washed out, and raw meat can look grey.

At CRI95, LumiKitchen renders colours almost identically to natural sunlight. Tomatoes look red. Herbs look green. You can tell the difference between rare and medium steak at a glance. This isn't just about aesthetics β€” it's about food safety and cooking accuracy.

Two Modes, One Light

❄️

Task Mode β€” 5000K–6500K

Bright, cool white light for cooking, chopping, and food preparation. Maximum visibility, true colour rendering. Every surface and ingredient is clearly visible. This is the light a professional kitchen demands.

πŸ•―

Ambient Mode β€” 2700K–3000K

Warm candlelight glow for evening relaxation. Dimmed to a soft level, transforming your kitchen from workspace to living space. Perfect for a glass of wine after dinner.

Intuitive Touch Control

An IP68 waterproof piezo touch sensor with a blue LED indicator ring. No moving parts, no mechanical failure β€” rated for millions of touches. Designed for wet kitchen hands.

πŸ‘†

Single Tap

Power on / off. The blue LED ring glows when lights are off β€” easy to find in the dark.

πŸ‘†πŸ‘†

Double Tap

Cycle colour temperature: Cold (6500K) β†’ Warm (2700K) β†’ Neutral (4000K).

πŸ‘‡

Long Press

Smooth brightness ramp. Hold to dim, release to stop. Hold again to brighten.

The Strip β€” Auxmer 2835 WWCW

240 LEDs per Metre β€” Ultra-dense LED placement creates a perfectly even, dot-free light line. No visible hotspots, just smooth continuous illumination across your entire worktop.
CRI95 Colour Accuracy β€” Colours appear almost identical to natural sunlight. Food looks natural, surfaces look clean, and your kitchen looks its best at any time of day.
24V DC Operation β€” Higher voltage means less current draw for the same wattage, which dramatically reduces voltage drop over 5-metre runs. The end of the strip is as bright as the start.
38.4W per Metre β€” Serious output. At full brightness in Task Mode, this is brighter than most ceiling downlights β€” but positioned exactly where you need it, right above your workspace.

Technical Specifications

Controller β€” ESP32-S3 N16R8 (16MB flash, 8MB OPI PSRAM). Two PWM channels drive warm and cool white independently for smooth colour temperature crossfade.
Power System β€” 24V DC input, 200W capacity. 10 AWG pure copper main wiring to prevent voltage drop. Multi-point power injection at start, middle, and end of strip.
Sensor β€” Momentary piezo touch switch, IP68 rated, black shell with blue LED indicator ring. Voltage divider on signal line if output exceeds 3.3V.
Safety β€” 20A inline fuse immediately after PSU. All components CE-certified. Plug-in low-voltage installation β€” no electrician required.

Why Not Addressable LEDs?

We deliberately chose non-addressable 2835 WWCW over addressable SK6812 WWA for LumiKitchen. The 2835 chip delivers significantly higher brightness per watt, CRI95 colour accuracy, and runs at 24V which eliminates voltage drop over 5-metre kitchen runs. In a kitchen, you need even, powerful, true-colour light for safe food preparation β€” not per-pixel rainbow effects. The gesture controls (tap, double-tap, long-press) deliver all the smart interaction you need without sacrificing light quality.
